What Are Backing Tracks?
Backing tracks are pre-programmed and/or pre-recorded accompanying music played along with other musical elements being performed live. Backing tracks are the drums, bass, keys, everything that I do not perform myself, (rhythm guitar and vocals). They create a beat you can more easily dance to and a more lively and well rounded sound than would be possible without them. My tracks are professionally programmed and professionally mastered.
Combined With Years of Professional Performance Experience
Until very recently I played only an acoustic guitar and relied on it entirely for musical elements and my singing and only my singing (pre-autotune era) to accompany it. I have performed between 400-500 paid gigs in the past six years. The addition of high quality backing tracks adds exciting and danceable layers of depth, percussion, accompaniment and polish for an experience that carries energy similar to that of a full live band.
